Constitution and By-Laws
of the
Florida Budgerigar Society.
SECTION 1.
This Society shall be known as the FLORIDA BUDGERIGAR SOCIETY.

SECTION 1.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this society shall be to improve the standards and develope interest in breeding, exhibition and care of the Budgerigar. And to create good fellowship among its members.
ARTICLE 111
OFFICERS
The Officers of this Society shall consist of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary,Past President and three Directors. All of which shall be known as the Board of Directors.

SECTION 1.
The term of Officers shall be two years:
A.        President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer shall hold office for two years after being duly elected in the December meeting of even years and commencing with the January meeting.
B.        The Immediate Past President may serve as a member of the Board after the election in the December meeting of even years and commence with the January meeting.
C.        The  Board of Directors will consist of three members and shall hold office for two years after being duly elected in the December meeting of odd years and commencing with the January meeting.
D.         The Treasurer shall receive and have custody of all funds.Maintan current records of account subject to audit by the board of directors.Shall disburse funds. Checks shall be signed by the Treasurer.
Duties of the Officers will be:
A.        The Board of Directors shall be responsible for the management of affairs of the Society consistant with the Purpose of this Society.
B.        The President shall preside over regular meeting, appoint all committees and perform such duties as are normally prescribed for such office.
C.        The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in the Presidents absence. Shall serve as Chairman of the Grievence Commitee. Shall also act as Educational Director
E.        The Secretary shall take the Minutes of all meetings and is responsible for preparing a legible copy of these Minutes to be kept in the club records. Shall also act as Membership Secretary.
